We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join the International Medieval Congress (IMC) team. You will provide high quality, customer-focused support in the organisation of the annual International Medieval Congress.

Working as part of the Institute’s International Medieval Congress Team, you will the first point of contact for IMC delegate queries, provide varied clerical support and specific responsibility for accurate data input.

You will have GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications) and an interest in the European Middle Ages. You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and have experience in payment handling, and of working in a customer-focussed role. The ability to work as part of a team and good organisational skills are also essential.

The Congress in 2017 will be from 3-6 July at the University’s Main Campus. The Congress Assistant is required to work from the preceding Saturday through to the Thursday evening, including evenings.
